if god did exist and made people in his form then every person would be male, look the same, have no personality flaws and would all be boring and why would god make so many disasters? why do people call god male? thats sexist, if god was real it was be of no gender right? or maybe a group of gods like a team on a project for some-thing comprised of males and females and i conclude from such insane represntations of god that it does not exist |

I believe in God. Everyone is entitled to their opinion about God, however, I don't agree with any of your reasons. The bible t states that God has no gender and no form. God made everyone different because that is what makes the world beautiful. In a crazy way, the imperfections of the world are what make life more precious. |

We don't do that very often any more but we did, even though we're not all male. So i don't think calling god male is really a problem. I think god is who ever/what ever you want god to be. |

God is suppose to have no gender or form (like Angelic said). It is people that make God like themselves. There are two reasons for this 1) people can't fathom God as a shape to believe in him, they need to picture him as a human to make sense in their mind and 2) people are self-centered. They think that only God could exist like they do, not in the form of an animal, shape, object...etc (This idea is taken from a intro to psych course). |

I would think He,It,She would want everyone to make their own choices, live their own life. Be Different. I really dont get why people say/ask this, If people are religous don't they believe in a sort of Hell? and the Devil, maybe he,it,she causes the bad things in the world to happen. I think because when the bible was written male's were more important and the fact that he was Jesus's Father. yes it is sexist I suppose but It doesnt meen 'he' should be of no gender, even you reffered to God as a him at the beginning of your post. some people believe in that. But there are so many religions so meh... Overall, Im more Atheist than anything else. So I really dont believe in God. |

I respect your opinion whether it's right or wrong. In my own opinion and religion. In reality, we don't know what god is like. We don't know God's name We don't know what God is like physically We don't know god's gender or if anything. We don't know how God will judge us... So yes, really we shouldn't be calling God a "he" God made both females and males for companionship, reproduction, and etc. Edited by AridWD, Dec 3 2008, 11:31 PM.

Not really. If you're going by the god of the Old Testament, being different is usually the quickest way to get an all-express ticket to Hell. Anyway, don't stress it. The only thing that can really come from deep thoughts about Christian logic (oxymoron) is a big headache. By the way, I love how you're only really mentioning and criticizing one specific God, not God as an idea or thought. Don't be so close minded. |

Have you ever watched Zeitgeist? You can watch it on youtube, make sure you watch the full movie version. The first part is all about mistranslations and how every religion came from astrology from one culture. I think you'd find it interesting. I don't believe in god, but I don't necessarily not believe in a god either. If there is something out there I don't think it's something we could comprehend or try to. I find the bible very sexist and hypocritical and wouldn't want to associate myself with those beliefs. |

Why would everybody on this earth be male? God mad plants and animals and water before ever making a male body. God mad Adam, the first male human. Once Adam was in a deep sleep he took a peice of Adam's rib right? and made a female, Eve. Adam and Eve disobeyed God's orders, they ate the forbbiden fruit and God sent them out into wild. They had to struggle; Disasters. God did make people all boring and shamless. When God created the Universe, men and women walked around naked. So basicly I could be talking here.. naked, in front of everyone and not be embarassed; having a boring expression. but when Adam ate the Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge he noticed he was naked and went and hide behind an olive leaf; those were the first clothes. come to the year 2008; what is your idea of clothes? individual expression, not to boring I suppose? Now I know Ana stated this already, but God is nor male, or female. God did not make man from him The Lord God took a handful of soil and made a man Genesis 2.4. long story short, woman came after man. God put's the man into a deep sleep, pulls out his ribs and makes a woman. Women are not protypes of God, neither are men. Him is a title man has given God. not him; Him. Why? Man came before Woman, men knew how to write, men were high priests, men ruled the armies of God, the feminist movement started only in 1972 while men ruled the earth since 9000 BC. God never made people in His form.
I conclude that God exists. Now what? heh heh, all good right? None taken to to deep 
Yes we do, God is pure, God is good, God has no evil, God is no bad. Yes we do know God's name; His name is God. He is not a god, he is the only god; his name is God, He is not an idol.. He's not a titan.. He is God the God. Sure we do, God came down to us in the form of Jesus Christ, and went back to Heaven in the form of Jesus Christ. God is the Father in his own form, he is the son in his physical form on earth, and he is the Holy Spirit being all around us. Already mentionned He judges us after the day is done. Not before the day is done, not during the day; after the day is done. Do you know the color of the 2nd car that will turn the 2nd street corner you cross tomorow? Has it happened? Good statement, Although I'm assuming by you being Atheist you have you're faith in the Big Bang, no God created the universe in your opinion, nothing. Am I Right? You can't prove that really, can you? None of us can prove how the universe came to be. It was born before we were. That's why we put our faith in something. Although in my opinion, the creation theory is more believable than the evolution theory. Now I don't know if you'll take it seriously, or if that is what you belive in; like I said, it's an assumption. Therefore, I won't argue about that. Yet? |

Exactly. I don't know anymore than you know. But I sure don't sling evolution and big bang theory around like I know something about it. That's dangerous and makes me look like an idiot. And of course, if I'm not sure of it, and it's not proven, I don't believe in it. However you talk like you know that what the bible says is the real truth. Even though the Bible was written by humans, and humans are imperfect. The bible sure didn't appear out of thin-air. So like I said, and I repeat myself, Prove that god created man. |

I believe it's called faith. I believe something has to come from something, now don't say something like "well If you believe in God creating the Universe I can believe in the Easter Bunny". Long story short; something has to come from something, nothing comes from nothing. Big Bang theories state that the world came from nothing, right? How can anything come from nothing? It can't. Something has to come before something. Religion claims God created everything, God is eternal, which means he was always there and he came before the universe which means something created the universe and the universe did not come from nothing. Now, back on topic; How can I prove God created men and women? I wasn't there. Now go prove to me oxygen exists. Did you ever see oxygen? No Did I ever see God create men no? Again it is strongly based on faith. Could you use science to see how (if?) God created mankind? Of course not. Even though the design itself shows evidence of a designer; breath, blood, design!. I can stand in my house and look up at the ceiling and say "hmm somebody built this house" then I can look at myself in the mirror and say "Somebody must have designed me, somebody must have designed my parents, somebody must have created my greatx30 grandparents."or I can say "well this is just physics of chance, I was made here by chance, If it wasn't for chance I'd still be a monkey in the zoo" not to the point where some people look themsleves in the face and say THERE IS NO DESIGNER. If god isn't evil or bad then why did it create bad people and natural disasters? That's pretty evil, you can throw free will into the equasion if you wish but it makes no diffrence, to me, any being that is willing to just watch bad things happen is pretty evil and sick. Good things don't happen very often to good people, mostly the bad people, criminals getting off lightly in some cases as well. As well as innocent people being convicted of a crime they didn't comit. Surly if god was real, those who didn't do anything wrong wouldn't be punished and those who did would. In their lifetime, it's no good saying 'they will be rewarded in the afterlife', that doesn't work for me, it's like telling a hard working employie will get a promotion when he quits. I could probably pick at your whole argument but this is the main point, if there is a greater being, why would they allow: Regious divide. Racial divide. Inequality. Rape. Murder. Abuse. Theft. Guns. Wars. Poverty. And so forth, any being, greater or otherwise that can just watch such things is quite sick in the head or whatever a god might have instead of a head. |

People built the pyramids, there was also a workers strike during the construction of some of them. I think you might need to learn some history, that and some works have left their markings on this inside of it. It was never an impossible task to do, just harder than it would be now. |
